What is E-Retail?

What products do you stock?
At ABC Logística we store all types of non-perishable products of any origin, size and category. We currently have clients from the telecommunications sector, textile industry, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, non-perishable food, plastic articles, electronics, paper, industrial equipment, among many others.
What is Cross Dock or Cross Docking?
It is a technique of consolidating and preparing orders of products from different suppliers for shipment to various destinations. It is a distribution system in which goods received through an inbound element are immediately prepared for shipment instead of being sent to storage. With this procedure, the need for warehousing of products is totally eliminated or considerably reduced.
What is a AAA Warehouse?
They are warehouses that guarantee the safekeeping of your merchandise with a security system with 24/7 closed-circuit surveillance and biometric access.
What is Picking?
Picking consists of handling unit loads, which is the order preparation activity of picking and combining non-unit loads to make up a customer's order.
What is Dry Storage?
It is where dry and canned foods are stored, so this area requires that the dry storage and raw materials are kept in proper temperature and humidity conditions.
What is Inventory Visibility?
The customer can see in the WMS the tracking of their inventory activity (total inventory and inventory on hand).
What Is Emplayado?
Wrapping is the wrapping of products, materials or miscellaneous goods in plastic film. Once the products have been wrapped with plastic film, they are guaranteed to be secured and protected for transport, storage and handling.
What is the size of the Europallet?
The European pallet or Euro pallet measures 1,200 x 800 mm. In terms of weight, a Euro pallet weighs around 25 kg and supports loads of up to 1,500 kg (and statically, without moving the pallet, up to 4,000 kg).

What is Traspaleo?
It is a movement requested by a Customs Broker. To carry out this maneuver, the Customs Broker requests an empty container from the Shipping Line. The Customs Broker must demonstrate to the Bonded Warehouse that he/she has authorization from the Importer or Exporter to handle the merchandise.
What is the Marbete?
The tag is an identification label that certifies the origin, quality and legality of the products you buy.
What is an HTS Code?
An HTS code is a number assigned to a specific imported item that helps identify and classify it. They also use HTS codes to determine the amount of duties or taxes that must be paid to bring an item into the country.
What products apply to a bonded warehouse?
The list of items allowed for tax warehousing is so extensive that it is more convenient to talk about the omitted or excluded items. Items that cannot be subject to tax warehousing:
Ammunition and weapons.
Explosives Radioactive or nuclear material.
Chemical precursors.
Most of the gemstones are Jade, coral and ivory pearls.
Jewelry articles made of precious metals.
Cigars Finished vehicles with some exceptions.
What is a Customs Brokerage Agency?
It is a strategic ally in the supply chain, supporting and legal support in foreign trade, some of the activities are: making the customs declaration, a correct tariff classification, payment of contributions and taxes, storage and distribution of goods, establishing the type of customs regime, among others.
What is INCOTERM?
International Commercial Terms are internationally recognized rules that define the rights and obligations between buyer and seller and establish how costs and risks will be allocated between the different parties to a transaction and their objective is to unify commercial concepts, so that the seller and buyer perfectly understand the conditions of the operations carried out between them.
What is EXW?
EXW stands for INCONTERM and stands for Ex-Works which is also known as "ex-works", meaning that the seller delivers the goods at his premises or other designated place, while the buyer assumes the risks and costs related to loading, transportation and clearance of the goods. This is favorable for exporters, as it represents a minimum risk. It means minimum commitment for the seller and maximum obligation for the buyer. It is normally used by novice exporters.
What is FOB?
It is an INCOTERM that stands for Free On Board (FOB) or free on board, it is used exclusively for maritime or river transport. It can be useful to control the freight and shipping costs of your goods. In this INCOTERM the seller delivers the goods at the port of shipment and assumes the costs of export customs clearance and export licenses. On the other hand, the buyer carries out the import formalities, arranges transportation from the port of shipment and assumes the costs during the delivery of the goods (unloading, freight, clearance, etc.).
What is CIF?
This INCOTERM stands for Cost, Insurance and Freight. It refers to the selling company delivers the goods on board the vessel and must contract and pay the costs, all customs formalities and freight to the port of destination. The buyer assumes the risk of loss or damage to the goods at the port of shipment. It is worth mentioning that the insurance is contracted by the seller, but it entitles the buyer.
What is DAP?
This INCOTERMS stands for Delivered at terminal, where the seller assumes all costs, including the main transport and insurance (which is not compulsory) until the goods arrive at the agreed terminal, assuming all risks until that moment.
What is the Importers' Register?
This is the SAT registry in which all individuals and companies must register in order to enter foreign products into Mexican territory.
What is a Transfer?
The operation by which liquid or solid materials are transferred from the rail car to land transportation units for distribution or final delivery to the customer.
What is TR1 and TR2?

What Is The Difference Between A Van And A Container?
A container is a totally hermetic metallic box used in three modes of transport: sea, rail and land, the van, its only mode of transport will be land and its means of transport will be the truck to which it is attached to the chassis.

What is a Container?
It is a cargo container intended for both international and domestic transport by sea, inland waterway and/or air. The size and shape vary according to the desired length and height. Both the shape and characteristics are regulated according to ISO-668:2 (International Organization for Standardization), which is why in some places containers are also known as ISO containers. This regulation also facilitates the handling and adaptation of the container to the decks of ships and the cargo spaces of ships and trucks.

What Is Picking And Packing?
Picking is the process of preparing an order: products are selected and picked from different places in a warehouse (aisles, shelves, etc.) and then organized before being packed and shipped to the final recipient. Packing is the process of packing, wrapping and packaging a product.
What Are Value Added Services?
Value-added services refer to services that are complementary to the warehousing and transportation of goods and are required for regulatory, tax or commercial compliance. Some of these services are: Labeling (NOM, Marketplace, special requests) and relabeling, kitting, packing and repacking of products, insertion of manuals, warranties, and others.
